zwischen_zeit

Three summer days filled with art, free and outdoors in Essen Altendorf. The event series "zwischen_zeit" (meantime) explored the nature of time, how we personally experience it, and what it means to us.

The series kicked off on August 8, 2024, in Alfred Krupp Park with a one-day exhibition by Leonard Schmidt-Dominé, followed by a video screening of Jessica Arseneau's work "Dawns."

Getting creative yourself and then listening to an autobiographical narrative was on the agenda for August 24th: On the day of nostalgia, collages were created with Tabea Borchardt and afterwards Esra Canpalat read a short story to the audience.

The last day of August was celebrated with a meal together in the Lorengarten, a concert by the Moritz Götzen Trio and a reading by Marie-Luise Eberhardt.
